In this guide I will be discussing how to backup and restore your blogger blog template as we all know that a blog template describes how your blog web pages looks like we have so many blogger themes but they are not well optimized for SEO, you will need to customize most of them by adding some CSS and HTML codes to the theme before it can be SEO friendly

In the purpose of customizing your Blogger blog theme you will need to add as well as remove some codes from your blogger blog theme
in these case some codes can generate errors which you may not be able to identify the errors but for you not to fall in this kind of situation it is always advisable to backup your blog template before adding or removing any line of codes from your blog
if at all any error was found in your blog template you can quickly restore back the backup templates
How to backup blog template
Login to your blogger dashboard
Click on Theme
Then in the top right corner, you will see Backup/Restore as shown in the screenshot below
Click on it to backup your theme
a dialogue box will appear just click on download theme
And if you want to restore your blog theme just follow the same steps then upload the theme you have backed up on your PC
click choose file to select your backup file
then after selecting your file click on upload as shown in the screenshot below
